COOKIE POLICY
What are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies from so-called “third parties” are set by a website different from the one the user is visiting. This is because each site can contain elements (images, sounds, specific links to web pages from other domains, etc.) that reside on servers different from that of the visited site.
We use cookies to improve user experience, speed up navigation, and collect information in aggregated form about the number of users and how they visit the site.
Types of Cookies
Technical Cookies Technical cookies are used solely for “the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service” (see Art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).
They are not used for any further purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. Technical cookies collected and processed on the Site can be divided into: navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to view a recipe); functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate based on a series of selected criteria (e.g., language, ingredients selected from the shopping list) in order to improve the service provided.
The installation of these cookies does not require the prior consent of users.
Third-Party Cookies By visiting this site, you may receive cookies from sites managed by third parties. An example is the presence of social plugins for Facebook, Instagram, and Google+, or embedded multimedia content display systems (integrated) such as YouTube and Vimeo. These are parts generated directly by these sites and integrated into the web page of the visited host site. The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites managed by third parties. Diana Eugenio cannot access these cookies, just as third parties cannot access Diana Eugenio’s cookies. The management of information collected by third parties is governed by their respective policies, to which reference is made.
For greater transparency and convenience, you can review the privacy policy and methods for managing third-party cookies (also in the case of cookies collected through social network plugins) at the following links:
The Site also collects third-party cookies for statistical purposes, in particular through Google Analytics (in anonymized form), which is a web analysis service provided by Google. Google uses the collected data to track and examine the use of this Site, compile reports, and share them with other Google services.
You can review Google Analytics’ privacy policy at the following link: Google Analytics Privacy Policy
Profiling Cookies Profiling cookies are used with anonymized IP addresses and are used only for statistical purposes.
Important Upon your first access to the Site, a banner appeared on your PC screen. If you clicked the “X” in the banner or continued browsing the Site, you automatically consented to the collection and use of cookies by Diana Eugenio.
Cookie Management and Disabling
Users can decide whether to accept cookies using their browser settings. Disabling “third-party” cookies does not affect navigation in any way. Settings can be defined specifically for different sites and web applications. Moreover, the best browsers allow you to define different settings for “proprietary” and “third-party” cookies.
Browser-specific instructions for managing cookies:
NOTE: Browsers often change interface and management commands for general settings. For the latest versions of the software used, refer to the instructions on the manufacturers’ websites.
